Thermal Energy International embarks on first major U.S. project

OTTAWA, ONT-Thermal Energy International is undertaking its first major project in the U.S., a heat recovery/energy cost reduction system for the food and beverage sector. The project, designed around Thermal Energy's Flu-Ace(R) waste heat recovery technology, will yield significant energy savings and reductions in greenhouse gases (CO2) and other emissions through reduced fuel consumption, capturing waste heat from the facility's boilers and applying it to various production processes. The estimated value of the contract is over $1.4 million. "This project presents an excellent opportunity for Thermal Energy to demonstrate its technology solutions in the U.S. food and beverage sector - the largest in the world," said Thermal Energy president and CEO Tim Angus.
