Brantford to receive $12M to aid brownfield site cleanup

BRANTFORD, ONT-The federal government is contributing $12 million to help the city of Brantford clean up one of its most critical brownfield sites. The Greenwich-Mohawk site, in the city's urban core, consists of three properties with a total area of more than 50 acres. Brantford will use the federal funding, together with contributions from the Ontario government, to carry out early-stage remediation of the site.
