Shane Uren has been appointed vice-president, environment and permitting for Copper Fox Metals. A registered professional biologist in British Columbia, Uren has ten years of environmental consulting experience within and outside Canada, with special focus on environmental planning for mines and related technical and permitting aspects. He was previously with Rescan Environmental Services, where he managed and participated in many recent environmental assessments (EAs) in British Columbia. Copper Fox Metals, a junior mining company based in Calgary, is conducting EA and feasibility studies relating to the development of a mineral property at Schaft Creek, in northwestern British Columbia. The Schaft Creek mineral deposit is one of the largest undeveloped copper, gold, molybdenum and silver deposits in Canada.
