Water well drilling firm, director charged under NB Clean Water Act
FREDERICTON, NB- Forage de Puits Tracadie-Sheila, a well drilling company in the Saumarez, New Brunswick area and company director Lévis Boudreau have been charged with two violations of the provincial Clean Water Act. The Department of Environment alleges that between October 2004 and December 2005, the firm and its director failed to submit water well driller's reports to the Environment Minister for each new well drilled during that period. The company and Boudreau are also charged with failing to pay the fee prescribed by regulation for testing the water of a new well during the same period of time. A court date has been set for November 23, 2006 in Tracadie-Sheila.
