Nova Scotia well drilling firms charged with operating illegally in New Brunswick

FREDERICTON, NB-Two Nova Scotia well-drilling companies have been charged with violatimg New Brunswick's water well regulation under the provincial Clean Water Act. The New Brunswick Department of Environment alleges that between January 1 and August 25, 2005, Bruce Haynes and Sons Well Drilling, of Amherst, NS conducted a well drilling business without the required well contractor's permit. Another Amherst company, Ron White Well Drilling (1989) is also charged with conducting a well drilling business between July 1 and December 3, 2005, without the required well contractor's permit. Both companies are scheduled to appear in provincial court in Sackville on October 3, 2006.
