Copper Fox Metals begins EA process for Schaft Creek property development
CALGARY, ALTA-Copper Fox Metals has started the environmental assessment (EA) process required by the federal and British Columbia governments for the granting of permits allowing development of the Schaft Creek porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum mine in northwestern BC. The company and its environmental consultant, Rescan Environmental Services, recently presented the company's preliminary project description report for the Schaft Creek project to representatives from BC's Environmental Assessment Office. Based on the report, management of the project EA has been assigned to the EA Office, with Anne Currie designated the project assessment director. As such, she will act as the liaison between Copper Fox and the EA Office. The project description report presented to the BC government will be posted on the company's Web site, www.copperfoxmetals.com, shortly.
