New DM named for Sask Environment

REGINA, SASK-Saskatchewan Premier Lorne Calvert has appointed Alan Parkinson as the new Deputy Minister of Environment. Parkinson has over 25 years of experience working in the natural resource sector in Saskatchewan, British Columbia and other provinces and territories. He has held a number of senior positions within the Saskatchewan public service, most recently as the Associate Deputy Minister with Saskatchewan Environment. Before that, he served as the Deputy Minister of Northern Affairs. He assumes his new post as of August 1st.
