H20 Innovation signs agency agreement with Egyptian firm

QUEBEC CITY, QUE-H20 Innovation 2000 recently signed an agency agreement with Water Technologies & Contracting Company (WATCO), an Egyptian firm specializing in water and wastewater treatment processes such as desalination, disinfection and softening, as well as biological and chemical treatments. The agreement makes WATCO an exclusive agent of H20's products for the territory in which it mainly operates, i.e. Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. As a follow-up to the signing of the agency agreement, H20 has obtained, through its agent WATCO, its first contract in the region. The $140,000 (U.S.) project will provide a water treatment system to a hotel chain complex in Abu Dhabi. The system will include two reverse osmosis desalination package plants assembled into containers. WATCO serves a diverse range of industry sectors, among them tourism, chemicals and petrochemicals, energy, maritime operations (including offshore platforms) and manufacturing. As partners, H20 and WATCO will be focusing on market opportunities associated with the development of luxurious hotel complexes along the Red Sea shoreline.
