Earth Rangers headquarters becomes first nature centre certified LEED Gold

WOODBRIDGE, ONT-The Earth Rangers Centre recently became the first nature centre in Canada to be awarded a LEED Canada Gold designation by the Canada Green Building Council. This achievement recognizes the building's environmentally progressive and innovative design, featuring: exemplary energy performance, leading practices in water conservation and wastewater treatment, protection of occupant health, and integration with its physical natural surrounding. This building showcases practical, sustainable solutions in modern construction. The Earth Rangers Centre, based at the Kortright Centre for Conservation north of Toronto, is home to the Earth Rangers, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to inspiring children to become the next generation of environmental leaders and showcasing real solutions to today's most urgent environmental issues.
