Quebec Cabinet shuffle brings in new Environment Minister

QUEBEC CITY, QUE-In a Cabinet restructuring, Quebec Premier Jean Charest has named Claude Béchard, Member of the National Assembly for Kamouraska-Témiscouata, Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks, replacing Thomas Mulcair. B Kamouraska-Témiscouata. Béchard has also been appointed deputy government leader, and will continue in his present role as head of the ministerial committee for economic prosperity and sustainable development and as minister responsible for the Lower St Lawrence and North Shore regions.
