Advisor named for Transformative Technologies program
OTTAWA-The federal government has hired consultant Arthur Kroeger to advise on the design of the new Transformative Technologies program, the successor to Technology Partnerships Canada. He will advise Industry Canada's senior management on the overall transparency, governance and accountability of the new program, along with its terms and conditions, due diligence and the criteria and selection process for projects. Kroeger served as deputy minister for six federal departments and has headed the Canadian Policy Research Networks since 1999. He was also chancellor of Carleton University for nine years and remains its chancellor emeritus.
