Local computer firm offers e-waste recycling

TORONTO, ONT-Computation, a Toronto computer company, is offering a drop-off recycling service for unwanted computer equipment at its Toronto operation, 2444 Bloor St West. From October 24 to 30, 2005, the company will accept computers and related equipment from the general public for recycling, with a limit of two complete systems per household. For larger quantities, businesses and organizations are invited to contact the company about its services. Computation is a computer equipment refurbisher, recycler, and IT services provider. Its staff make all efforts to refurbish the equipment it collects, remarketing and donating where possible. All information present on systems is securely destroyed, and irreparable equipment is recycled for its raw materials. The company diverts 100% of the equipment collected from landfill. More information is available from Dennis Maslo at Computation, 416/910-4358, E-mail dmaslo@computation.to.
