HazMat Management teams with CBN to produce new Canadian Brownfields Chronicle
TORONTO, ONT-HazMat Management magazine has formed a new partnership with the Canadian Brownfields Network (CBN) to produce a regular special section focusing on brownfields, the more than 30,000 contaminated or underutilized sites across Canada. Starting with the August/September 2005 edition, HazMat's new "Canadian Brownfields Chronicle" will include technical case studies on new and innovative remediation methods as well as analysis of legislation and policy regarding brownfield redevelopment. The articles will be written by leading experts in conjunction with HazMat's writers and editors. The Canadian Brownfields Chronicle will appear in HazMat's print publication, on the Web site, www.hazmatmag.com, and in its weekly e-newsletter. HazMat Management, part of EcoLog Information Resources, is published six times a year. The CBN is a national network for brownfields practitioners and stakeholders. Its mandate is to raise awareness of the economic, environmental and social benefits of redevelopment, and to transform the market through outreach and capacity-building initiatives.
