Quebec MOE expands sampling accreditation program
QUEBEC CITY, QUE-Quebec's Centre of Expertise in Environmental Analysis, an agency of the Ministry of Environment, has expanded its accreditation program for environmental sampling of residual materials used as agricultural fertilizers. The program will enable sampling firms to obtain the necessary accreditation to meet new Ministry requirements stipulating that only accredited sampling firms may test residual materials used as agricultural fertilizers. Sampling firms interested in participating in the program may now register. The Ministry has prepared forms designed to standardize sampling procedures for residual materials used as agricultural fertilizers which could also be used for other purposes. The forms, along with program details, may be viewed on the Centre of Expertise in Environmental Analysis Web site, www.ceaeq.gouv.qc.ca.
