H2O Innovation helps industry, tourism clients meet new discharge limits

QUEBEC CITY, QUE-H2O Innovation has signed contracts with a combined value of more than $500,000 to provide its Bio-Fosse(tm) wastewater treatment technology to clients in the industrial and tourism sectors. The company's biological system will help clients in both sectors meet new government standards for wastewater discharges. H2O Innovation reports that, on the recommendation of its independent consultant, Hydro-Quebec/Manic 5 recently acquired the Bio-Fosse technology. The selection was based on its compact, vertical, space-saving design, which distinguished it from competitors. In addition, in collaboration with the consulting firm Experts Enviroconseil, H2O Innovation recommended the installation of a Bio-Fosse system for domestic water treatment at Mine Seleine, a subsidiary of Windsor Salt. The system will allow "Mine Seleine" to comply fully with current emissions standards. In the tourism sector, the Canadian Tire Foundation, has contracted H2O Innovation to provide its system for the foundation's Camp Perce-Neige. This contract, valued at more than $200,000, is presently being delivered.
