Wavefront signs technology deal with ERM

EDMONTON, ALTA-Wavefront Energy and Environmental Services has entered into a non-exclusive marketing, distribution, and implementation agreement with Environmental Resources Management North East (ERM), a large, international environmental consulting firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. "ERM views this agreement with Wavefront as a key part of our strategy as a leader in the application of innovative remediation solutions for our clients," said ERM partner Rick Lewis. Wavefront president and CEO Brett Davidson noted that ERM's worldwide presence will enable it to integrate Wavefront's pressure pulse technology (PPT) into its remedial services. "We have long believed that PPT is a game changing technology for the environmental industry and will result in a fundamental change in the way that environmental remedial programs are viewed, planned and executed. We believe ERM will aid in this process," he said. The fluid flow optimization technology has been demonstrated to increase oil recovery. Within the environmental sector, PPT is used to accelerate contaminant recovery and improve in-ground treatment of groundwater contaminants.
