Consultation period opens on EA for Mont-Tremblant development project
OTTAWA, ONT-Infrastructure Canada and Fisheries and Oceans Canada today have opened a public consultation period on the environmental assessment (EA) of the Versant Soleil and Versant Nord of the Mont-Tremblant development project (phases 3 and 4), running from August 23, 2004 to September 20, 2004. In accordance with the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, the two federal departments, which are the responsible authorities for this project, have conducted a screening level EA. Written comments on the factors considered, the conclusions and the screening report recommendations may be submitted in English or French and are due by September 20, 2004.
