Year in Review 2004 Environment Conference slated for November 25

Sponsored by Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP and HazMat Management magazine, the Year in Review 2004

Environment Conference will provide a comprehensive coast-to-coast summary of provincial and federal environmental law. This executive-level briefing will give senior managers and business owners the inside track on which new precedents, amendments and judgments could affect their operations.

Participants will hear engaging presentations by many of our country's top legal minds on real-world applications of regulation across the country - what was done and by whom, and the true significance of non-compliance.

There are more than 1,100 environmental acts, regulations, guidelines and codes in Canada which can affect companies of all types and sizes. Investigations, orders, fines and convictions often result from a lack of understanding of these current environmental laws. Up-to-date information is crucial to good corporate governance and to avoiding non-compliance situations.

Year in Review 2004, presented by EcoLog Information Resources Group, will take place November 25, 2004 at the Westin Prince Hotel, Toronto. A 100-page exclusive executive report, breakfast and gourmet lunch are included with registration. Early-bird reservation rates will apply until September 17.

Registration and hotel reservation details are available from Rabiya Shaikh at 416/510-6864. Sponsorship inquiries should be directed to Todd Latham at 416/442-2185.

Program details and updates will be posted on the conference Web site, www.ecolog.com/yir/.
