Quebec City, CO2 Solution to develop reactor at municipal incinerator

QUEBEC CITY, QUE-Quebec City's executive council has ratified a preliminary contract with CO2 Solution for the development of an experimental reactor at the municipal incinerator. The contract, estimated at nearly $300,000, is being funded jointly by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, through the Green Municipal Enabling Fund, the Quebec Ministry of Environment and the city itself. The details of the final agreement will be made public at the contract signing, which is expected by the end of August. The work will start immediately thereafter and should be completed in May 2005.
